How did you become a "Dog Person?" We've had dogs all my life and I cannot imagine what it would be like without them.   I've not gotten into the "sport" of dogs, I just relish in the enjoyment of their company.   Not much in life beats a dog's ability to make you laugh and smile; provide support and companionship; amaze with their antics and actions; and every so often drive you crazy.

What is your greatest dog related accomplishment? My greatest accomplishments has been to work with each of my pekes to teach them tricks. I feel that teaching your dog tricks is one the best ways to develop a close bond with your dog.  The process is one of teaching and learning on both sides.  It takes respect for each other, requires careful observation and creative communications of each others thoughts.
